Certification Built on Classroom Practice
Every AI2N-certified facilitator completes a structured pathway covering pedagogy, sandbox operations and student safety, and is assessed in a real classroom before they lead one. The scheme is in development: it is a RobotSpace.ai programme certification, not a government, NCTE, CBSE or board qualification.
This certification scheme is in development
The pathway below describes how we intend facilitator certification to work. It is under academic review and the levels, hours, assessment and renewal terms are not yet settled, so no figures are published here. It is a RobotSpace.ai programme certification: it is not a government, NCTE, CBSE or school-board qualification, and it does not confer one.
From Onboarding to Verified Facilitator
Four stages, each with a checkpoint, before a facilitator is cleared to run an AI2N-certified classroom.
Pedagogy & Safety Modules
Self-paced online units covering child safety, classroom pedagogy and inclusive teaching practice.
Live Sandbox Training
Instructor-led sessions inside the autobotlabs.ai sandbox, covering robotics hardware operation, curriculum delivery and lab safety protocol.
Proctored Assessment
A practical sandbox proctoring exam evaluating hands-on facilitation, incident response and curriculum-fidelity delivery.
Certification & Renewal
A digital certificate is issued, which a school can verify with us. Its validity period and the renewal route are part of the scheme still under review.
Three Tiers of Facilitator Credentialing
Associate Facilitator
Entry certification for teachers running guided AI2N curriculum sessions under school supervision. Requires modules 1–2 and the proctored assessment.
Lead Facilitator
For facilitators independently running the full curriculum and mentoring Associate Facilitators. Requires one full certification cycle plus a peer-observed session.
Master Trainer
Qualified to deliver AI2N's facilitator training to other schools and lead RAARB curriculum review panels. By nomination, after two renewal cycles.
